1 Timothy
1
1 Paul, apostle of Messiah Jesus, by order of Elohim our savior and Messiah Jesus
our hope.
2 Timothy, my child born in wedlock. In faith: grace, mercy, and peace from Father Elohim and Messiah Jesus.
3 As I exhorted you while traveling to Macedonia: abide in Ephesus to instruct certain people not to teach different doctrines, 4 nor focus on myths and unfinished genealogies — which bring speculative controversy rather than oversight from Elohim, which is in faith. 5 The goal of instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith, 6 which certain ones have missed and have turned towards meaningless discourse, 7 desiring to be rabbis yet not understanding neither the discourse nor about what they are asserting. 8 We know, though, that the torah is beautiful if someone uses it lawfully. 9 Knowing this: that the torah is not enacted for the righteous but for the lawless, unsubmissive, irreverent, sinful, unholy, secular, murders of fathers and mothers, murderers, 10 male prostitutes, men who have sex with men, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and anyone in opposition to healthy doctrine 11 according to the good news of the glory of the blessed Elohim which I have been entrusted with.
12 I have grace from the one who strengthens me — Messiah Jesus our lord — because he deemed me trustworthy for service. 13 I used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor, insolent, and spiteful; but I was given mercy because I did it in unbelief. 14 But the grace of our lord abounded with faith and love in Messiah Jesus. 15 This word is trustworthy and worthy of full acceptance, that: Messiah Jesus came into the cosmos to rescue sinners, of which, I am chief. 16 But I was given complete mercy for this: that I, the chief, could display Messiah Jesus’ full patience as an example for those about to believe in him for life age- enduring.
17 To the King of the Ages — the Immortal, Invisible, singular Elohim — be the value and glory through the ages. Amen.
18 This command I lay before you, Timothy, my child, according to the prophecies given to you: that you would wage the beautiful war amongst them. 19 Have faith and a good conscience, which some have cast away and made a shipwreck of faith (among whom are Humenaios, and Alexandros, whom I have handed over to the adversary to be reprimanded into not blaspheming.)
our hope.

1 First of all, my exhortation is to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings on behalf of all humankind; 2 for kings, and all those who are in authority, so that we may spend our days in tranquility and stillness, full of piety and dignity. 3 This is beautiful and acceptable in the presence of our savior, Elohim, 4 who desires to rescue all of humanity, and to experience the reality to come. 5 For there is one Elohim and one mediator between Elohim and humanity: the human, Messiah Jesus, 6 the one who gave himself as ransom on behalf of all, providing his own testimony at the right time , 7 of which, I was appointed as a herald and an apostle. I speak truth and not lies. I teach the gentiles in faith and truth. 8 Therefore, I desire to pray for men in every region, raising holy hands separate from pent up anger and deliberation.
9 Also, women who are well dressed with self-control and without shame should not decorate themselves with braids, or gold, or pearls, or expensive clothes, 10 but rather, with what is distinguished as women who profess the fear of YHWH through good works. 11 Let women obediently learn peace, 12 since I do not permit women to teach nor have mastery over men except in a state of peace. 13 For Adam was molded first then Eve. 14 Also, Adam was not seduced, but the woman, having been convinced came into transgression. However, rescue will come through childbirth if they abide in faith and love and sanctification with a salvation-mind.

1 This word is trustworthy: if someone yearns to be an overseer they need to desire beautiful works.
2 Therefore, the overseer is required to be:
8 Servants must also be:
11 Women must also be:
12 Servants are to be:
14 I hope to come to you quickly, if I am delayed, however, 15 then I am writing to you so that you may know the necessities of how to conduct the household of Elohim, which is those called out by the living Elohim, the pillar and foundation of truth. 16 Also to agree that this pious mystery is great: who was illuminated in the flesh, was justified in the Ruach, was seen by angels, was heralded throughout the nations, was believed on in the world, and was taken up in glory.
2 Therefore, the overseer is required to be:
- Guiltless
- A man with one wife
- Sober
- Salvation-minded
- Knows their place
- Loves foreigners
- Are able to teach
- 3 Not drunkards
- Patient rather than violent
- A pacifist
- Does not care for money
- 4 Have a well- respected household that is full of dignity, with children who are in submission
- 5 For if one cannot manage their own household, they do not know how to take care of the ones Elohim has called out
- 6 Not a new convert
- So that they will not be disillusioned and fall into the judgment of the slanderer
- 7 It is also necessary, then, to have a beautiful testimony that is different from those outside so that they may not fall into disgrace and the snare of the slanderer.
8 Servants must also be:
- Reverent
- Not deceitful by saying one thing and meaning something else
- Not have a tendency towards a lot of wine
- Not greedy
- 9 And hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience
- 10 Also, let them be tested first, then let them serve if they are guiltless
11 Women must also be:
- Reverent
- Not slanderers
- Sober
- Faithful in all things
12 Servants are to be:
- Monogamous husbands
- And their children and household are to be well respected
14 I hope to come to you quickly, if I am delayed, however, 15 then I am writing to you so that you may know the necessities of how to conduct the household of Elohim, which is those called out by the living Elohim, the pillar and foundation of truth. 16 Also to agree that this pious mystery is great: who was illuminated in the flesh, was justified in the Ruach, was seen by angels, was heralded throughout the nations, was believed on in the world, and was taken up in glory.

1 But the Ruach explicitly states that in later times some will:
6 Lay these things before the brethren and you will be a beautiful servant of Messiah Jesus. Be nourished in the words of faith and of beautiful teaching that you have followed closely. 7 Decline secular wives tales. Rather, train yourself in piety. 8 For a little bodily exercise is profitable, but piety is profitable for everything. It holds the promise of life in the now and the one about to be — 9 this word is faithful and worthy of full acceptance — 10 for this we toil and struggle, since we hope in the Living Elohim, who is the savior of all humanity, especially the faithful.
11 Instruct and teach these things. 12 Let no one look down on your youth. Rather, be an imprint for the faithful: in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity. 13 Until I come, focus on the public reading of scripture, exhortation, and teaching. 14 Do not neglect the gift of grace that has been given to you through prophecy with the laying on of hands by the council of elders. 15 Care for these things, be in them so that your advancement is visible to all. 16 Focus on yourself and the teaching; persist in them, for by doing this, you will rescue yourself and those who hear you.
- Leave the faith
- Devoting to deceiving spirits and instruction from lesser deities
- 2 Hypocritically speak lies with their cauterized consciences
- 3 Forbid marriage
- And hold on to other things in order to stay away from food that Elohim created for sharing with thanksgiving by those who are faithful and know the truth

1 Do not lash out at one of the elders, rather, exhort him as a father; younger men as brothers; 2 older women as mothers; younger women as sisters — all in purity.
3 Honor widows who are genuine widows. 4 However, if any widow has children or grandchildren let them first learn dedication and recompense by repaying their parents, for this is gladly received by Elohim. 5 The now genuine and isolated widow has hope in Elohim and abides in prayer night and day. 6 However, if she is lavish, she lives death. 7 Command this as well, so that they will be guiltless. 8 Now, if someone does not plan for their own household especially, they deny faith and are worse than faithless. 9 Enroll widows who are:
17 A beautiful and good presiding elder is worth double in value, especially those worn-out in the word and doctrine. 18 For the writings says, "Do not muzzle an ox threshing wheat," and, "The worker is worthy of his wages." 19 Do not receive an accusation against and elder unless its on the basis of two or three witnesses. 20 However, rebuke those sinning in the eyes of everyone so that the rest might have fear.
21 I solemnly testify before the face of Elohim and Messiah Jesus and the divine council that these things you should keep separate from prejudice, doing nothing out of partiality. 22 Do not rush to lay hands on anyone, nor share in the sins of others, keep yourself pure. 23 Dont drink water alone anymore, but use a little wine for your stomach and frequent illness. 24 The sins of some people are evident, preceding them to judgment, but for some, they follow later. 25 Likewise, good works are evident, and even the other ones being hidden, cannot.

1 Let all who are under a yolk as slaves esteem their masters as worthy of all honor, so that the name of Elohim and the instruction should not be blasphemed. 2 And do not let those who have believing masters despise them because they are brethren, but rather, let them serve them because those who benefit from the good service are believers and divinely loved.
3 Teach and exhort these things. If anyone teaches different doctrines and not draws near to the healthy words of our Lord Messiah Jesus and lines up with godly teaching, 4 he is puffed up, understanding nothing but morbid controversy and fighting over words; out of which emerges:
17 To the rich in the present age, instruct them to not be arrogant, nor to have hope in the uncertainty of wealth, rather, on Elohim, the one giving us all things abundantly for enjoyment. 18 To do good works, to be wealthy in good works, to be generous, ready to share, storing away for themselves a foundation good for the future, so that they may seize this real life.
20 O' Timothy, guard the deposit avoiding secular empty babbling and opposition thats falsely called knowledge, 21 which some who profess the faith have gone astray. Grace be with you all. Amen.
